Santo Domingo Convent Complex

The Santo Domingo complex recalls the growth of the Dominican order from its first settlement in La Corredoira to San Xoán de Porto outside the walls. The convent, begun in the fourteenth century, was altered in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. Its east end stands out for its Soutomaior patronage and capitals carved with hunting and Nativity scenes.
