Historic Centre Entrance

This entrance to the historic centre helps visitors understand the city from its walled edge. The wall ordered by Ferdinand II in 1170 expanded Tui towards the river and still preserves long stretches, sometimes absorbed into houses or reinforced by the late-fifteenth-century outer defence. The access point introduces a city with Roman and medieval roots.
