Convent of Las Clarisas

The Convent of Las Clarisas is linked to the Monastery of the Conception, whose origins lie in the late fifteenth century. At Bishop Pedro Beltrán's initiative, the community adopted the Franciscan third rule and shaped one of the most recognisable religious spaces in the historic city. Its surroundings preserve passages, walls and streets with a strong convent character.
